Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Moise Vlad!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Billy Bill!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Daniel Franklin and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vlad tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Bill throws a poor cross that misses
and Vlad counters with a series of strikes. Bill will be more careful next time no doubt.
Bill misses with an uppercut
and Vlad cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Bill misses with a left hand
and Vlad counters with a straight right hand.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Bill keeps the fight on the outside.
Vlad tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Bill paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Bill throws a poor cross that misses
and Vlad counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Bill thinking.
Good leg kick by Vlad there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Vlad shoots in for a takedown but Bill shows good takedown defense.
Bill misses with an uppercut
and Vlad counters with a one-two to the body.
Bill drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Vlad manages to get back to half guard.
Vlad tries to get to full guard but Bill has control of the leg.

Bill looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Vlad with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Vlad wants to control but Bill is keeping busy.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Vlad tries to roll over but Bill keeps him under control.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Vlad tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Vlad trying to hold on to Bill's head to control him but Bill postures up.
Moise Vlad has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Vlad fails with an attempt to clinch.
Bill misses with a lunging right hand
and Vlad counters with a nice body kick.
Vlad shoots for a takedown but Bill saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

and Vlad counters with an outside leg kick.

Bill keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Bill closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Vlad quickly recovers to half guard.
Bill lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Vlad moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Vlad is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Bill is controlling him.
Vlad really is a fat lump.

Bill stands up over Vlad, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Vlad is on top in guard.
Bill is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Bill really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Vlad. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Bill is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Bill slows the pace down in half guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Vlad is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Bill's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Bill's back!

Vlad is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Bill pulls his head out easily.

Bill seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Vlad might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Vlad shoots for a double leg takedown but Bill sprawls well. He's pushed Vlad's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Bill shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Vlad is trying to defend but Bill finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Vlad moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Billy Bill.
Bill feints and as Vlad raises his hands in defense, Bill changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Bill engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Vlad trying to keep a closed guard but Bill is proving a slippery customer.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Vlad here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Vlad tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bill swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Bill fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Vlad manages to avoid it.
Bill throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Vlad counters with a head kick.
And that's the end of the fight!
Moise Vlad showed his dominance in that final round.
