Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jose Aldo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jb Trent (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the featherweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jose Aldo! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jb Trent! The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Donatello Bradman and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No joy there for Aldo, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Trent throws a head kick but Aldo moves out of range.
Trent tries to clinch but Aldo moves out of range. Trent tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Aldo tries to close the distance and clinch up but Trent swats him away and circles back towards the center. Jb Trent seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Trent shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Trent was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Aldo keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Aldo holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Trent tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Aldo manages to regain half guard. Good work. Aldo tries to kick Trent off but Trent keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Aldo is trying to maintain the position but Trent is very close to passing his half guard. Aldo pushes Trent off and gets back to his feet. Aldo lands a nice leg kick that just misses Trent's sensitive parts. Aldo is looking to clinch. Aldo closes this distance looking for a takedown but Trent circles away. Trent doesn't succeed with the takedown and Aldo counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Aldo misses with a head kick.
Aldo dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Trent. That did some damage! Aldo throws a nice outside leg kick. Aldo throws a lazy right hand but Trent sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Aldo is looking to land body kicks. Trent with a poor takedown and Aldo counters with a nice leg kick. Trent is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Aldo gets the takedown into side control. Aldo is looking to take a break and control but Trent is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Aldo lands a few punches from side control. Trent is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Trent looks gassed! Aldo controlling the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Trent tries to get back to half guard but can't. Aldo tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Trent can do anything to dispel that myth. Aldo controlling the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Trent is not content to let Aldo control the position. Aldo stands up. Aldo with a lazy takedown attempt and Trent counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Aldo's guard now. Aldo looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Jose Aldo will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Aldo lands a two punch combo.
Trent throws a sloppy head kick and Aldo counters with a solid body kick. Aldo feints and then cracks Trent's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Trent down. Aldo drives through and clinches with Trent against the cage.
Trent drops down looking for an ankle pick but Aldo pulls his leg out and moves away.
Aldo lands a leg kick that knocks Trent off balance momentarily. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Aldo, right into the meat.
Aldo throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Trent is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Aldo tries to clinch there but Trent circles away.
Aldo fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Trent. Aldo shoots in and gets a takedown into Trent's guard. Aldo with a flurry of punches that miss. Aldo trying to control the position from guard on top but Trent is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Trent working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Aldo.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Aldo advances to half guard. Aldo prevents Trent from improving his position. Aldo gets to his feet - back to striking we go! Aldo closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Aldo not doing much here.
Aldo seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Trent for as long as he can get away with.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Aldo scoring with strikes to the body and head. Trent wants to get back to his feet.

That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Jose Aldo wasn't doing enough on the ground. Aldo throws a quick inside leg kick. Aldo feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Trent's calf. A chopping leg kick lands by Aldo. Aldo shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Aldo was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Aldo working away from the top, dropping strikes. Aldo postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Trent looks a forlorn figure.
Aldo looking to control and managing it successfully. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jose Aldo dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Aldo shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Trent pinned against the cage. Trent gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Aldo shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Trent napping and manages to drive through into side control! Aldo works to advance to full mount. Trent defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Trent can't escape the position.
Aldo tries to control but Trent wriggling away. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Trent tries to lock up and control but Aldo gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Aldo sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Aldo in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Aldo scores with a couple of good head shots there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Aldo controlling from mount. Trent gets back to half guard. Aldo is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Trent! Aldo can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Trent is looking to escape. Trent is in a horrible position here. Aldo smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Aldo controlling the pace for now. Aldo with shots to the head and body - Trent looks very uncomfortable down there. Aldo is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Trent can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Aldo content just to control the position here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Trent is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

And that's the end of the fight! Jose Aldo showed his dominance in that final round. Well Aldo has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
