Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Tyreek Ahmed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hichiro Tokigawa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ahmed has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Hirohito Nitta and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tokigawa jabs at Ahmed's body.
Ahmed is breathing heavily.
Tokigawa throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ahmed's waist but Ahmed gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Tokigawa off to one side.

Tokigawa moves in looking to clinch but Ahmed pushes him off.
Tokigawa changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ahmed tries to avoid it but Tokigawa manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ahmed to the ground. Ahmed escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Ahmed's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
