Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Frankie Edgar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrei Lovik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Edgar has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Frankie Edgar looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lovik gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Edgar counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Lovik's guard now.
Edgar throws a big right hand that misses.
Edgar has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Lovik is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Lovik is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Lovik is working for a kimura but Edgar is defending it quite comfortably.
