Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between David Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kamushek Selskiy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, David Smith!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kamushek Selskiy!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Tiny Johnson and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith shoots in and bounces Selskiy off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Smith won't allow Selskiy to sweep him here.
Selskiy keeping full guard, as Smith tries to pass.
Smith trying to control the position from guard on top but Selskiy is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Selskiy looking for subs off his back but Smith has passed one foot through into half guard.
Selskiy keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Smith perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
The ref stands the fighters back up. David Smith wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Smith misses with a takedown attempt
and Selskiy counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Smith pushes Selskiy off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Donk. Selskiy catches Smith right on the button with a cross.
Smith with a poor takedown
and Selskiy counters by moving into the clinch.
Smith is breathing heavily.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Smith breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Smith misses with a takedown attempt
and Selskiy counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for David Smith. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Smith is looking to escape.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Selskiy seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Smith does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Selskiy really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Smith. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Selskiy decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Selskiy closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Smith wants a takedown.
Smith tries for a takedown. No joy.
Selskiy manages to break the clinch.
Selskiy clinches with his opponent.
Selskiy softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Smith goes for a takedown in the clinch but Selskiy prevents it.
Selskiy decides to pull guard.
Smith has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Selskiy is proving hard to escape from.

Selskiy controlling the position.
Selskiy is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Smith trying to control but Selskiy is working from the bottom.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Smith sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Smith gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Selskiy counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Selskiy thows a big elbow that misses.
Selskiy sitting in guard doing not very much at all here. Smith doesn't need a second invitation though! He's locked up a guillotine and he's squeezing tight! That is tiiiiiiiiight! Selskiy paying the price for stalling here - he's pushing hard on the arm trying to free himself but it's no use! He's tapped! WOW, quick submission from Smith - great work!
