The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCuddy keeps the fight on the outside.
McCuddy tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Lawler shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Lawler was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
McCuddy working to try and regain half guard.
Lawler avoids the attempt from McCuddy to control.
Lawler punching from mount but McCuddy doing a good job of avoiding damage.
McCuddy is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if McCuddy can do anything to dispel that myth.
McCuddy is in all sorts of trouble here.
McCuddy holds on to Lawler around his waist, trying desperately to prevent any attacks.
McCuddy tries to hold on but Lawler pushes him away.

Lawler working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. McCuddy turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Lawler off and cradles McCuddy's limp body as Lawler celebrates with his corner.
