Silva kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Bring Da Ruckus. Jack Hammer has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Damien Silva's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hammer throws a right hand that misses
and Silva counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
It looks like Jack Hammer has been cut.
Damien Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hammer misses with a left hand
and Silva counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Hammer misses with a lunging right hand
and Silva counters with a right hand that sends Hammer tumbling to the canvas! Can Silva finish him? He dives into Hammer's guard looking to do just that!
Hammer is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hammer striking off his back but it's not causing Silva any problems.

Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Silva drops back looking for a leg! Hammer is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Hammer manages to kick Silva off! Silva jumps back into Hammer's guard.
Silva is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Hammer can't keep his opponent in guard - Silva advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Silva has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Silva winds up and cracks Hammer with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Silva maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Hammer could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Silva has cracked it and Hammer is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Silva!
