Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jun Akiyama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ador King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ador King will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jun Akiyama! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ador King! The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Kenichi Hosakawa and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! King misses with a takedown and Akiyama counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. King throws a hook but Akiyama blocks it. King fails with the takedown and Akiyama counters with a stiff right hand. Akiyama with a lazy takedown attempt and King counters with a nice double leg into half guard. King is keen to just control but Akiyama is a slippery customer. King blocks the strikes from Akiyama.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. King not landing any meaningful shots this time. King is working for a kimura but Akiyama is defending it quite comfortably.
Akiyama is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. King trying to control the action but Akiyama is working from the bottom. Akiyama is trying to stand.
King is trying to control the action in half guard but Akiyama is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Akiyama knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for King on the ground. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Akiyama is looking for a sweep. King is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Ador King has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. King wants to clinch but Akiyama slips to the side and Akiyama counters with a shoot takedown. King fights it but they end up in guard. Akiyama trying to control the position from guard on top but King is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. King keeping full guard, as Akiyama tries to pass. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. King throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Akiyama missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. King is trying to keep Akiyama in close.
Akiyama trying to control the position from guard on top but King is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. King has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Akiyama off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. King shoots in and bounces Akiyama off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Akiyama is breathing heavily. King would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. King lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. King slips nicely into half guard. King has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. King moves into full mount! Akiyama won't be happy about that! The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, King cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Akiyama has given up his back here.
King is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish. King scores with some strikes to the side of the head there. Good, points scoring shots.
Akiyama rolls, trying to escape but King keeps control of the position.
King is looking for the choke from the back position but Akiyama is controlling his hands well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Akiyama is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by King.
Akiyama wants to escape the position.
King is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Akiyama won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips King off his unconscious opponent!
