The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Luthor lands with a thumping leg kick.
A low kick from Ferreira is predictable there
and Luthor counters with a good, hard body kick but Ferreira shrugs it off.
Ferreira throws a right and a left that both miss.
Ferreira misses with a few strikes there.
Ferreira tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Luthor was well out of range. Poor timing from Ferreira.
Ferreira thows a leg kick but Luthor checks it
and Luthor counters with a good, hard body kick but Ferreira shrugs it off.
Ferreira is breathing heavily.
Luthor tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
A shot to the body from Ferreira misses
and Luthor counters with a leg kick.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
An inside leg kick lands from Luthor.
Luthor throws a head kick that Ferreira semi-blocks.

It looks like Mauricio Ferreira has been cut.
Luthor throws a sloppy head kick and Ferreira moves out of range easily.
Luthor lets loose with a powerful body kick. Ferreira will feel that in the morning.
Luthor tries a head kick but it misses.

Luthor lands a big head kick that sends Ferreira tumbling to the mat! Luthor takes a step backwards and waves Ferreira back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Ferreira wants to stay close but Luthor steps back to make room for something. Ferreira seems frozen to the spot and bam! huge swing of the leg from Luthor and Ferreira drops like he has been shot! A huge head kick and it's all over!
