Alvarez swings widly with a right hand
and Williams counters with a straight right hand.
It looks like Eddie Alvarez has been cut.
Williams displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Alvarez throws out the jab.
Williams tries for a takedown but Alvarez circles away easily
and Alvarez counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Williams!
Alvarez takes Williams's back.
Alvarez has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Williams! Can he survive? No! He's out! Alvarez gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
