The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Donald Grub and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kaperonis is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Kaperonis defending well as Old Man loads up on a big left hand.
Kaperonis throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Old Man counters with a stiff right hand.
Kaperonis misses with a series of wild punches.
Kaperonis avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Old Man throws a looping overhand right but Kaperonis ducks down to avoid it.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Old Man!
It looks like Dioxippus Kaperonis has been cut.
Kaperonis looks to clinch
and Kaperonis takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Kaperonis is rocked!
Kaperonis wants to clinch but Old Man slips to the side
letting Old Man counter with a right hand.
Oh Kaperonis is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Kaperonis looks to land a right hand but Old Man moved out of range.
Kaperonis has his takedown stuffed
and Old Man counters with a nice uppercut.
Kaperonis tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Old Man counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Old Man misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kaperonis looks to clinch
and Old Man counters with a nice right hand that sends Kaperonis toppling to the canvas! Kaperonis scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Old Man finish him?!
and Old Man counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Kaperonis! He's just covering up as Old Man starts to tee off till referee steps in and stops the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Roni Old Man!
