Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Denis Solyanko! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ken Shamrock! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Daniel Franklin and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shamrock misses with a takedown attempt and Solyanko counters with a nice uppercut.
It looks like Ken Shamrock has been cut. Shamrock shoots and misses and Solyanko counters with a nice uppercut. Shamrock with a lazy takedown attempt letting Solyanko counter with a right hand. Denis Solyanko has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ken Shamrock. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Shamrock decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Solyanko tries to kick Shamrock off but Shamrock keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Shamrock is working for a kimura but Solyanko is defending it quite comfortably.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Shamrock is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Solyanko is just riding it out for now. Shamrock eventually gives up the hold. Shamrock is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Solyanko doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Shamrock. Shamrock stops Solyanko from getting back to his feet.
