Green has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! Dean Green looks lathargic as he enters the arena. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Byrnes lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Green looks gassed!
Byrnes scores with a shot to the body.
Byrnes moves in looking to clinch but Green pushes him off.
Byrnes fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Green on the side of the head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Jab by Byrnes.
Byrnes bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Green's head backwards.
Byrnes scores with a sloppy right hand. Green should have avoided that one.
Byrnes tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Green paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Byrnes scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Byrnes cracks Green with a hook to the temple - Green is on wobbly legs here! Byrnes swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Green falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Byrnes wins by TKO!
