Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Daniel Cesar and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martinez gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Jelen decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Martinez's guard.
Jelen's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Jelen passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Jelen content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Jelen will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Jelen decides to stand up, so the ref orders Martinez to his feet.

Martinez misses with a takedown
and Jelen counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Martinez's guard now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Martinez wants to control but Jelen passes easily into half guard.

Jelen has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Jelen moves nicely into side control.
Martinez is letting Jelen control him for a moment.
Jelen's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Jelen is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Martinez is forced to tap! Great finish!
