Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Luther Conrad!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jason Grillz!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Steve Smith and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grillz stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Grillz wants it to stay on the feet.
Conrad misses with a right hand
and Grillz cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Conrad throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Grillz's waist but Grillz gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Conrad off to one side.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Luther Conrad. That's going to take a lot out of him.

letting Grillz counter with a right hand.

Conrad fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Grillz avoids it really well and circles away.
Grillz defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Conrad.

Grillz throws a nice inside leg kick.
The fight stays on the outside here - Conrad looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Conrad takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

Horrible takedown by Conrad or perhaps it was just good defense by Grillz which made him look bad.
Grillz throws a front kick that sends Conrad stumbling back into the cage.
Conrad takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Grillz.
A decent looking cross lands there for Grillz.
Jason Grillz is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Grillz scores with a three punch combo!
Conrad is rocked!
Grillz fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Conrad to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Conrad looks to clinch but Grillz throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Conrad taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Jason Grillz!
