These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Laskutkov with a lazy takedown attempt
and Krauss counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Laskutkov had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Krauss defends it easily.
Krauss is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Laskutkov is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Krauss is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Krauss really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Laskutkov. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Laskutkov is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Krauss rolls with it to try and escape but Laskutkov cranks on the arm and Krauss is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
