Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mike Alverez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Knox Yodsenklai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alverez comes to the cage accompanied by ALL DAY. Yodsenklai has chosen Traditional Wai Kru as his entrance music. This should be a great matchup!

With a record of 10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Mike Alverez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 10 - 1, fighting out of London, Knox Yodsenklai!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Paulsen Ambrosius and Aafke Stam.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Alverez counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Alverez lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Alverez seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Yodsenklai for as long as he can get away with.
