Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kristian Palo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bob Chong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chong has chosen Get Down On The Ground as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Kristian Palo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
15 - 14 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Bob Chong! The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Sergei Dronov and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chong looks to score with a jab to the body but Palo is just out of range. Palo looks for the body kick but Chong saw that one coming. Chong just misses with a punch to the body.
Chong swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Chong throws a big shot that misses. Chong takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Chong checks a leg kick. Palo throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Palo lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Chong has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Chong and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Palo throws a head kick but Chong moves out of range.
Chong checks a leg kick. Chong fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Palo misses with a kick to the body.
Palo tries to clinch and Chong counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
That's one minute gone in the round. Palo on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Palo is breathing heavily. Palo steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Chong. Chong swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Chong cracks Palo with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Chong swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Palo is looking to chop away at Chong's legs. Chong moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Palo ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Chong swings widly with a right hand
and Palo holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Chong as Palo tries to tie him up. Chong blocks an elbow strike. Palo is looking to control Chong's arms but Chong gets an underhook and turns him. Now Palo has his back to the cage. Chong lands a left hand that snaps the head of Palo backwards. Nice body punch from Chong. Chong has Palo pressed against the cage.

Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Chong. A left hand lands to the body for Chong.
Chong gets through Palo's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Chong lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Palo or not. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Chong takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Chong lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. Good body shot from Chong.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Palo's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Chong works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Chong lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Palo. Chong has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Palo uses from the top position. Chong controlling the position. Chong has his feet on Palo's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Chong looks to score with a jab to the body but Palo is just out of range. Palo moves out of range as Chong strikes. Chong thows a body shot but no joy. Palo takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
A looping hook to the body misses from Chong. Palo does a little dance to reset his feet. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Palo lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. Bob Chong seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Chong bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Palo avoids the body shot from Chong.
Palo is looking to clinch. Chong stalks Palo and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Palo's face. Palo staggers backwards, shaken. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Palo gets cracked there but stands up to it.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Chong takes a swing at Palo's ribcage but misses. Chong tests Palo's chin there with a solid looking shot. Palo attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bob Chong dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Palo takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Sloppy strikes from Chong. Those never looked like landing. Palo closes the distance looking to clinch and Chong counters with a nice uppercut. Chong checks a leg kick. Palo keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Chong looks to score with a jab to the body but Palo is just out of range. Chong misses with a straight left. Chong with a nice cross. Chong throws a body punch but Palo moves out of range.

Palo shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Palo slips a jab from Chong. Chong lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Palo throws a low kick, looking for Chong's leg but Chong calmly moves out of range. Chong ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Palo moves away. Palo throws a sloppy head kick and Chong moves out of range easily. Palo throws a leg kick but Chong checks it. Chong drops Palo with a nice combination! Chong dives into Palo's guard, looking to finish!
Palo is rocked! Chong content to stall in guard here. Chong drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Chong jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Chong trying to control but Palo is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Chong advances to half guard. Chong seems to be working for a kimura but Palo defends the submission attempt. Chong not doing much here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Chong is working for a submission of some sort.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Chong is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Palo tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Chong has advanced to mount. Uh oh. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bob Chong showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
Chong connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. A leg kick checked by Chong. Palo wants to clinch up but Chong keeps it at a distance. Chong waves his right hand out in front of him, looking to distract Palo. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Palo to the canvas! Can he finish him!?
Oh Palo is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Chong advances position into side control! Palo seems to have got his legs back now. Chong misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chong is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Palo looks calm but he's in trouble here. Chong gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Palo is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Chong lets go of the hold and Palo can pop his arm back in it's socket.
