Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dan Hardy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Al Capone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hardy comes to the cage accompanied by Stranglehold Ted Nugent. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dan Hardy! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Al Capone! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Robert Douchet and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hardy shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Hardy goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Capone is on top in guard.
Hardy keeping moving, preventing Capone from controlling successfully. Capone postures up in Hardy's guard and throws a big left but Hardy blocks it. Capone stops Hardy from standing up. Hardy wriggles free and stands up. Hardy with a poor takedown and Capone counters with a nice double leg into side control. Hardy won't be happy with that. Hardy is not content to let Capone control the position. Capone controls the position. Capone prevents Hardy from escaping the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hardy sneaks out the side door and pushes Capone away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape. Capone scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Capone stops Hardy from getting back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hardy is breathing heavily. Capone keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Hardy tries to kick Capone off but Capone keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Capone stalling. Capone seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Hardy does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Capone lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Hardy pushes Capone off looking to stand but Capone dives back in and keeps control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Capone trying to control from half guard but Hardy is working away. Hardy manages to escape and get back to his feet! Capone shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Capone is figuring out what he wants to do next. Hardy pushes Capone off looking to stand but Capone dives back in and keeps control.
Hardy kicks Capone off and gets back to his feet. Dan Hardy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Capone gets in close and instigates a clinch. Capone turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Capone manages to end up in side control. Capone trying to control the action but Hardy is working from the bottom. Hardy throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done! Capone fails to land with a series of punches.
Hardy shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Capone manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Hardy looking to pass the guard. Hardy trying to control but Capone is working from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Capone is trying to hold Hardy in close to prevent damage but Hardy has managed to pass into half guard.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Hardy in particular looking to stall. Capone is trying to maintain the position but Hardy is very close to passing his half guard. Capone is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Capone wants to get back to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Al Capone dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Hardy fails with a takedown attempt. Hardy changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Capone looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Capone tries to escape but Hardy is in control. Hardy creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Hardy is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Capone will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Hardy has an Americana. Capone didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Hardy is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Hardy hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:53 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Dan Hardy!
