Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dan Marsh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Rolla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Marsh might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Kashmir - Led Zeppelin. Dan Marsh could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Mike Rolla's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dan Marsh! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mike Rolla! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Marsh closes the distance looking to clinch and Rolla counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Rolla circles away from the clinch attempt.
Rolla moves into the clinch. Rolla is trying to break the clinch but Marsh is controlling him. Rolla taking a breather. Marsh is trying to drag Rolla to the mat but Rolla just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Marsh can't get the takedown.
A short right from Marsh on the inside. Rolla is trying to stall.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Marsh tries to circle away but Rolla has him pinned against the cage. Marsh has Rolla pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Marsh pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Rolla tumbling to the mat - Marsh dives into Rolla's guard. Rolla controlling the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rolla is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Rolla trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Marsh stands up from guard. Let's bang! Marsh has Rolla up against the cage in a clinch.
Rolla manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Marsh trying to control the position from guard on top but Rolla is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Rolla trying to control the position here. Rolla manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Rolla fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rolla controlling from mount. Rolla's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Rolla lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rolla working Marsh over with strikes here. Rolla stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing. Marsh drives through with a takedown into guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Marsh looking to pass the guard. Marsh is breathing heavily. Marsh looking to sit in guard and control but Rolla gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Rolla's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Rolla works a leg free and moves into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rolla not landing any meaningful shots this time. Marsh on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Rolla sitting and controlling from the half guard. Marsh is refusing to be controlled, as Rolla sits in half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mike Rolla dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Rolla shoots in but Marsh avoids the takedown attempt easily. Marsh has Rolla up against the cage in a clinch.
Rolla jumps guard and drags Marsh to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Rolla manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Marsh manages to get himself to full guard.
Rolla works a leg free and moves into half guard. Marsh tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Rolla decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. Rolla looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Rolla won't allow Marsh to get back to his feet. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rolla is stalling in the full guard. Marsh can't keep his opponent in guard - Rolla advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Marsh knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Rolla on the ground. Rolla keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Marsh is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Rolla with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Mike Rolla. Marsh throws a left and a right that both miss
and Rolla decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Marsh's guard. Marsh is looking to stand up but Rolla isn't so interested in that idea. Rolla works a leg free and moves into half guard. Rolla lands with a punch from half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rolla trying to control from half guard but Marsh is working away. Rolla postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Marsh to stand up. That kick from Rolla tenderised Marsh's leg. Marsh is trying to keep his angry face on. Rolla lands a high kick!
Rolla doesn't manage to clinch there - Marsh circles away.
Rolla tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Marsh manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Marsh slips a jab and a cross from Rolla.
Nice takedown defense from Marsh. No joy for Rolla on that attempt. Rolla fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Dan Marsh has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mike Rolla. Rolla clinches. Marsh takes a shot to the head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Marsh is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Rolla decides to pull guard. Rolla looking to control.
Rolla controlling the position. Rolla throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Rolla wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Marsh working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Marsh trying to move into half guard but instead Rolla has managed to sweep! Marsh on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Marsh tries to get out of the position. Rolla stands and steps away. Marsh gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Rolla is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Marsh gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mike Rolla showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Rolla changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Marsh tries to avoid it but Rolla manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Marsh to the ground. Marsh escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Marsh bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Marsh gets tackled into the cage by Rolla. Rolla maintains the clinch. Marsh tries to stall but Rolla uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Rolla pulls guard. Rolla had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Marsh defends it easily. Rolla manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Marsh manages to get himself to full guard.
Rolla sitting in guard here, content to control. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Marsh wants to stand but Rolla is controlling the position.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Rolla has a takedown stuffed. Marsh decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Rolla kicks off Marsh and gets to his feet. Rolla forces Marsh back against the cage and clinches. Rolla connects with a nasty looking knee right to Marsh's face.

Rolla manages to pull guard.
Rolla pushes Marsh off and gets back to his feet.
Rolla decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Marsh taking some punishment here, with Rolla in his half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rolla stalling. Rolla seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Rolla sitting and controlling from the half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Mike Rolla has got the better of the ground game so far. Rolla trying to control the action but Marsh is working from the bottom.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Mike Rolla. Rolla slips a jab from Marsh. Dan Marsh has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Rolla rushes Marsh and presses him up against the cage. Marsh digs a right hand into Rolla's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Rolla's gas tank. Rolla displaying some good clinch control by pressing Marsh up against the cage. Marsh has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Rolla is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
And that's the end of the fight! Mike Rolla comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Rolla has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
