Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bob Ross (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and William Tell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). William Tell acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Bob Ross!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, William Tell!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Richard Clark and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tell changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Ross looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Tell looks up at the clock and then as Ross takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Tell smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Ross wants to control but Tell postures up.
Ross takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Ross takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Tell looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Ross is avoiding damage well.
Ross is looking to regain half guard here but Tell keeps moving and retains side control.
Ross gets back to half guard.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Ross is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
Ross blocking the ground and pound attempt from Tell.
Tell not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Tell is looking to stall here but Ross recovers full guard.

Ross tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Tell throws a big right hand that misses.
Ross looking to hit a scissor sweep but Tell is one step ahead there.
Ross manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Tell manages to get himself to full guard.
Tell thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Tell throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Tell looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Ross wants to control from the top but Tell keeps moving.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Ross wants to pass the guard but Tell is keeping the position.
Tell keeping moving, preventing Ross from controlling successfully.
Tell working a defensive guard here.

Ross gets to his feet - Tell follows without any prompting.

Ross looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Tell!
Tell is looking to get to half guard.
Ross blocks Tell's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.
Ross wants to control but Tell has made it back to half guard. Nice work.

Ross looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Tell with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Tell looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Tell looks gassed!
Still in half guard, Ross seems content to control.
Tell slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Tell is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Ross dives into side control.

Ross has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Tell gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Tell looking for a sweep. Not yet Tell, not yet.
Ross sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Ross seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Tell for as long as he can get away with.
Tell looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Ross puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Tell wants to improve his position but Ross is controlling well.
Ross stalling.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tell tries for a takedown but Ross circles away easily

and Ross decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Tell's guard.
Tell tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Tell working a defensive guard here.
Tell is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Tell escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Ross gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Tell trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!

Bob Ross overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Ross slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Ross tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Tell looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Tell is breathing heavily.
Tell stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ross swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Tell trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Ross manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!
Ross might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Tell trying to keep a closed guard but Ross is proving a slippery customer.

Ross controls from within his opponent's guard.
Ross stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Tell swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Ross postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Tell keeping moving, preventing Ross from controlling successfully.

Tell controls Ross momentarily but Ross frees himself.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Ross clinches up with Tell and pushes him back against the ropes.
Tell tries to pull guard but Ross won't allow it.

Ross manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Ross looking to control.
Ross is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Tell is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Tell works over Ross with some ground and pound from guard.
Ross is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Tell dives into side control.
Ross regains half guard there - taking advantage of Tell's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.
Ross trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!

Ross slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
Tell is thwarting Ross's attempts to control the position.
Tell trying to control the action but Ross is working from the bottom.
Tell working Ross over with strikes.
Ross moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Ross is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ross feints and then cracks Tell's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Tell down.

Tell closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Tell lands in his opponent's guard.
Tell postures up in Ross's guard and throws a big left but Ross blocks it.

Tell has gone for a leg lock! Ross slips out almost immediately though and dives into Tell's guard.
Tell tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Ross slips nicely into half guard, despite the strikes coming from Tell.
Tell missing with punches from the bottom.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Tell is pressing down on Ross's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Ross won't allow Tell to sweep him here.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Tell is on top in guard.
Tell postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Tell trying to control the position from guard on top but Ross is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Tell looking to pass the guard.
Tell scoring with punches to the head and body.
Ross keeping moving, preventing Tell from controlling successfully.
Ross not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Tell passes Ross's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Ross is looking to control Tell's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Ross avoid being mounted?
Tell throwing shots but Ross is blocking nicely.

Ross regains full guard. Nicely done.
Tell stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ross swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Ross has his feet on Tell's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.

Ross scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Tell is trying to stand back up but Ross is controlling him
Tell misses with some strikes from the bottom.

Ross is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Tell is just riding it out for now. Ross eventually gives up the hold.
Tell is trying to control but Ross manages to pass to mount!
Tell is working to get back to half guard.
Tell throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Ross trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Tell has given up his back, trying to stand up. Not clever.
Tell is really stuck here.
Ross has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Tell's body.

Ross has his opponent's back and is working for the choke.
Tell tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!
William Tell has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Tell regains half guard.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Bob Ross.
Well Ross has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
