Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Shin Katama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tentacool Tentacruel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Katama comes to the cage accompanied by Inject the Venom. The crowd seem to be enjoying Tentacruel's choice of entrance music: Septopus. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tentacruel lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Katama tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Tentacruel counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Tentacruel.
Tentacruel lands an elbow inside.
It looks like Shin Katama has been cut.
Katama tries to circle away but Tentacruel has him pinned against the cage.
Katama wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Katama is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Katama drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Katama is trying to push Tentacruel away but Tentacruel has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Tentacruel lands an elbow inside that Katama shrugs off.
Tentacruel has clasped his hands together around Katama's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Tentacruel has knee on belly and moves into mount.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Katama is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tentacruel working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Katama is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Tentacruel has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Katama taps out!
