Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Gerome Kabasla!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Rogara Silvason!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Tarja Halkonen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kabasla throws a series of punches but Silvason moves out of range.
Silvason misses with a takedown attempt
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Kabasla misses with a head kick.
Silvason shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Kabasla counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Kabasla throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Kabasla tries to land a front kick but Silvason steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Silvason throws a shot from downtown. Kabasla moves away and avoids it.
Kabasla throws a sloppy head kick and Silvason moves out of range easily.
Silvason jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Kabasla attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Gerome Kabasla seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kabasla connects with a leg kick. Silvason looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
A nice leg kick lands there from Kabasla.

Silvason is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Kabasla.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Silvason with a poor takedown
and Kabasla counters with a left and a right that stings Silvason.
Gerome Kabasla has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rogara Silvason.
Kabasla tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Kabasla lands a leg kick that knocks Silvason off balance momentarily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kabasla swinging wildly here.

Kabasla walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Silvason checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Gerome Kabasla is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Kabasla misses with a series of wild punches.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Kabasla feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Silvason's calf.
Kabasla throws a looping overhand right but Silvason ducks down to avoid it.
Kabasla misses with a low kick.
Silvason blocks a leg kick.
Kabasla pivots, looking for a leg kick but Silvason is out of range and Kabasla settles back down.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Gerome Kabasla dominated that round.
That's time! Kabasla's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Silvason shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Kabasla counters with a slapping leg kick.
Silvason stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Kabasla.
Silvason slips a jab and a cross from Kabasla.
Kabasla connects with a leg kick. Silvason looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Silvason has his takedown stuffed
and Kabasla counters with a low kick, right behind Silvason 's knee.

Kabasla tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Kabasla throws a nice outside leg kick.
Silvason checks a leg kick.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Kabasla, right into the meat.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Kabasla throws a head kick that lands with a deafening thwack! The crowd roars as Silvason stumbles backwards and falls to the mat. Kabasla follows into mount!
It looks like Rogara Silvason has been cut.
Kabasla lands a heavy shot. That's hurt Silvason! Kabasla sees the opportunity and turns up the heat - strike after strike land to the defenseless Silvason and the ref dives in to save him! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:38 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Gerome Kabasla!
