Jackson closes the distance and lands a one-two.
It looks like Buster Vessel has been cut.
Jackson shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Vessel is trying to defend but Jackson finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Vessel is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Jackson scores with a couple of nice shots.
Jackson wants to work for an arm triangle but Vessel is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Vessel is trying to maintain the position but Jackson is very close to passing his half guard.

Jackson throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Vessel throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Jackson uses his free foot to push down on Vessel's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Vessel.
Vessel takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Jackson's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
