Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Boy Ka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and ale gladiador (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). gladiador comes into a darkened arena with his song building. smell like the spirit kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

I looks like gladiador might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

and gladiador counters with a nice double leg into side control. Ka won't be happy with that.

Let's hope that gladiador has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Ka throws a lazy head kick
and gladiador counters with a shoot takedown. Ka fights it but they end up in guard.

Ka is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Ka throws a head kick but gladiador moves out of range.
Ka gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows gladiador to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Ka is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so gladiador is just riding it out for now. Ka eventually gives up the hold.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Ka jumps guard but gladiador stands there with Ka around his waist. Ka gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Ka is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked gladiador off and has taken his back!

Ka is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

Ka is striking well from the back but gladiador escapes and manages to control the positon and works his way to half guard. A much better position - the crisis is over for the time being.
Ka is keen to just control but gladiador is a slippery customer.

Well gladiador has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
