Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Henry Fish (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Primo Self (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Henry Fish! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Primo Self! The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Summer Carpenter and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fish tries to clinch and Self connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Fish misses with a double jab
and Self counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Henry Fish seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Good exchange - Self coming out on top. Fish throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Self holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Fish tries to break the clinch but Self is controlling the position. Fish drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Self tries for a takedown. No joy.
Fish tries to score a body lock takedown but Self shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Fish avoids a wild elbow strike from Self. Fish breaks from the clinch.
Fish throws a series of punches but Self avoids them all with ease. Self fails to land with a series of punches.
Self looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Fish swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Self holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Fish drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Self gets the underhooks and prevents it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Henry Fish. That's going to take a lot out of him. Fish has Self pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Self manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Self prevents Fish from breaking the clinch. Self escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Nice straight punches there by Fish. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Fish. Fish throws a left and a right that both miss
and Self counters by clinching up. Fish drops down looking for an ankle pick but Self pulls his leg out and moves away.
Fish misses with a combination
and Self counters by moving into the clinch. Self has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Fish is trying to keep an underhook but Self manages to get the takedown into half guard. It looks like Self is going to stand back up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Self looks gassed! Self decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. Jab from Fish. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Fish tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Self holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Self gets underhooks to prevent Fish's takedown attempt.
Fish has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Self avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fish goes for a takedown in the clinch but Self prevents it.
Fish working hard to break the clinch. Fish is trying to push Self away but Self has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Fish tries to work over Self's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Fish is pressed up against the cage. Self has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Fish down to the mat. Fish avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. The fight moves into the clinch position. Self manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Self is looking to stand up but Fish isn't so interested in that idea. Fish advances position into side control! Fish tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Self bucks up and tries to throw Fish off but instead Fish has got his back! Fish has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Self! Can he survive? No! He's out! Fish gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Henry Fish!
