Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thing One (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Preuss Belfort (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Thing One! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Preuss Belfort! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Tiny Johnson and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Belfort rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and One counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Belfort's guard now. Belfort trying to control the position.
One is standing up over Belfort. Belfort looks to escape but One dives into side control.
Belfort tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck. Belfort tries to hold on but One pushes him away. Belfort can't escape the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. One avoids the attempt from Belfort to control. Belfort tries to reverse the position but One maintains control. One avoids the attempt from Belfort to control. He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. One looking to control and managing it successfully. Belfort is working to get back to half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Belfort tries to hold on but One postures up. Belfort is trying desperately to improve position. One controlling from the full mount. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Belfort's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Belfort looks gassed! The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. One content just to control the position here. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Belfort wants to hold on but One pushes him away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Thing One dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Belfort misses with a left hand and One counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. One's corner is telling him to maintain position. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Belfort can do anything to dispel that myth. Belfort throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Belfort being controlled here, momentarily. Belfort wants to control but One passes easily into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. One controlling the action here. Belfort wants to control but One is keeping busy and won't allow it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Belfort strikes from the bottom but One uses the opportunity to move to side control.
One has control of an arm but Belfort manages to advance to One's back! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Belfort misses with a punch to the head. Belfort is breathing heavily. Belfort is striking from the back but One escapes and manages to recover to half guard. One controlling the leg, holding on to half guard. Belfort tries to stand and escape but One actually recovers to full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Belfort throws a big right hand that misses. Belfort throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as One works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Belfort wants to get up but he can't break One's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. One could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Belfort throws a strike but One rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. One content to stall in guard here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. One has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. One slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Thing One dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Belfort throws a lazy uppercut
and One counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Belfort! One content just to control the position here. One's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Belfort tries to hold on but One postures up. Belfort takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. One controlling from the full mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. Belfort tries to hold on but One postures up. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Belfort swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. One controlling from mount. Thing One overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Thing One is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
We're going to have a standup here because Thing One wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. One moves into range and clinches up with Belfort. A short uppercut from One. Belfort is trying to break free. One lands with a right to the head. Nice body punch from One. A nice right hand lands inside from One. One lands a shot to the body. One makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from One. One gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. One is struggling to control the position. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. One lands with a light punch inside. One lands with a short shot to the head. A short right from One on the inside. A short right from One. One lands with a left to the head. One lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Belfort backwards. A short right from One on the inside. Preuss Belfort has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! One displaying some good clinch control by pressing Belfort up against the cage. One comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Belfort avoiding damage as One throws knees to the body.
Belfort wants to get back to striking at distance but One won't allow it.
One lands an elbow inside. A nice right hand lands inside from One. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. One stalls. Belfort takes a shot to the head.
And that's the end of the fight! Thing One showed his dominance in that final round. Well One has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
