Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Marcus Camillus!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Maxim Basi!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Robert Douchet and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Basi throws a lazy head kick
and Camillus counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
It looks like Maxim Basi has been cut.
Basi stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Camillus.
Camillus avoids the head kick by Basi.
Basi shoots and misses
and Camillus counters with an inside leg kick.
Camillus jabs Basi right on the nose. Basi blinks but takes it well.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Camillus lands a big head kick that sends Basi to the canvas! Camillus follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Marcus Camillus!
