Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chuck Liddell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hidehiko Yoshida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Hidehiko Yoshida!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Saam Ante and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yoshida looks to land a combination but Liddell avoids it well.
Yoshida swinging wildly here.
Yoshida throws a poor cross that misses
and Liddell counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Liddell throws out a loose jab but Yoshida uses good head movement to avoid it.
Yoshida tries to clinch up but Liddell circles away and keeps his distance.
Yoshida connects with a jab.
Hidehiko Yoshida seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Yoshida throws a lazy uppercut
and Liddell cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Yoshida closes the distance and clinches.
Yoshida lands with a short shot to the head.
Yoshida tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Yoshida pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Yoshida tries to close the distance and clinch up but Liddell swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Yoshida tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

and Liddell makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Yoshida darts in trying to clinch
and Liddell counters with a two punch combo.
Yoshida is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Liddell drops Yoshida with a straight right hand, right on the button! Liddell follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
