Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Marcelo Garcia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kamil Dziki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kamil Dziki will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dziki closes the distance looking to clinch

and Garcia counters with a shoot takedown. Dziki fights it but they end up in guard.
Dziki wants to stand up but Garcia is controlling him.

Garcia drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Garcia jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Garcia accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Garcia chips away with some ground and pound.
Garcia is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Garcia has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Garcia passes Dziki's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Dziki is refusing to be controlled, as Garcia sits in half guard.

Garcia is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Garcia thows a huge punch but Dziki dodges it nicely.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Garcia's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Dziki tries to roll over but Garcia keeps him under control.
Garcia wants to pass to mount but Dziki is defending the position.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Garcia lands a nice short elbow.

Dziki is pushing off trying to get to his feet. Garcia has hold of the leg though and he's dropped back for a heel hook… has he got it?? YES! Dziki is tapping! This fight is all over!
