Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nick Colfax! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Donnie Panloski! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, George Francis and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Colfax goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Panloski tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Colfax shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Panloski pinned against the cage. Panloski gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Colfax fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Panloski throws a head kick but Colfax moves out of range.

Panloski tries to clinch up. Panloski keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nick Colfax. That's going to take a lot out of him. Colfax takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

It looks like Donnie Panloski has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Panloski throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Donnie Panloski is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Panloski slips a jab and a cross from Colfax.
Colfax avoids the head kick by Panloski.
Colfax tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Panloski swivels and escapes. Colfax fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Panloski wants to control from the top but Colfax keeps moving. Panloski thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Panloski gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Panloski tries to clinch up but Colfax circles away and keeps his distance. Colfax takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Panloski throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Panloski wants to clinch and Colfax counters with a stiff right hand. No luck for Colfax with that takedown attempt. Panloski misses with a head kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Colfax bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Colfax is putting a hurting on Panloski here, landing some big shots from side control. Colfax connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Panloski some visible discomfort.
Panloski is still in real trouble! Can Colfax finish him? Colfax working the head and body with strikes. Panloski throwing some weak shots from the bottom that do no damage.
Colfax lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Colfax trying to control the position but Panloski is working away. Colfax stands up and beckons Panloski to his feet. Colfax moves out of range of the strikes. Panloski seems to have recovered his senses. Colfax keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Colfax throws a sloppy head kick and Panloski moves out of range easily. Colfax misses with a two punch combination.
Panloski stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Colfax. Panloski is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Colfax fails with a takedown attempt from distance. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Panloski has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Donnie Panloski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A slapping body kick lands there for Colfax. Colfax tries a head kick but it misses.

Panloski had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Colfax is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Panloski Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Colfax's back instead.
