Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marco Salamanca (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arran OConnel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Marco Salamanca! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Arran OConnel! The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Albert Achterberg and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Salamanca misses with a takedown attempt and OConnel counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. OConnel content to control rather than advance. OConnel is looking to advance position but Salamanca won't allow it. OConnel is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
OConnel throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Salamanca looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Salamanca slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. OConnel stopping the sweep attempt from Salamanca.
That's one minute gone in the round. OConnel content to stall in guard here. Salamanca lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for OConnel! OConnel gets back to half guard. OConnel really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Salamanca. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Salamanca is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Salamanca is sneakily working for an arm triangle but OConnel sees it coming and defends easily. Salamanca will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Salamanca is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, OConnel has managed to free his arm - good work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. OConnel is trying to maintain the position but Salamanca is very close to passing his half guard. Salamanca is sneakily working for an arm triangle but OConnel sees it coming and defends easily. Salamanca is trying to control. OConnel wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Salamanca is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because OConnel is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Salamanca wants to advance to full mount but OConnel doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead. Salamanca is looking to stand up but OConnel won't let him. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Salamanca accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
That's three minutes gone in the round. OConnel trying to keep a closed guard but Salamanca is proving a slippery customer.

Salamanca passes OConnel's right leg, so he's now in half guard. OConnel wants to control but Salamanca is keeping busy.
OConnel looks gassed! OConnel might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Salamanca kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. OConnel keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. OConnel is refusing to be controlled, as Salamanca sits in half guard. Salamanca tries to stand and escape but OConnel is controlling the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. OConnel trying to control but Salamanca postures up.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Arran OConnel was stalling too much, according to the referee. Salamanca closes the distance but OConnel moves to the side and OConnel counters with a nice double leg into side control. Salamanca won't be happy with that. Salamanca sneaks back into half guard. OConnel missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Salamanca gets back to full guard.
Salamanca is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. OConnel is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Salamanca has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. OConnel is looking to defend but Salamanca has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for OConnel! Salamanca pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, OConnel taps out and this one is all over!
