Houk tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Houk closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Godfrey to the mat! Godfrey manages to get full guard.

Houk looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Godfrey is fending him off so far but Houk persists. Nope, Godfrey circles away and we're back to standing.

Zak Houk seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Houk throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Godfrey's waist but Godfrey gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Houk off to one side.

Houk seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Godfrey does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Houk, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
