Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gunter Kicurasz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nate Sorenson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kicurasz comes to the cage accompanied by Stemm - Face the Pain. Gunter Kicurasz could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Nate Sorenson's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Gunter Kicurasz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Nate Sorenson! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Donald Grub and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sorenson misses the body punch and Kicurasz cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Kicurasz throws a head kick that misses. Kicurasz is looking to clinch. Sorenson clinches up against the cage. Kicurasz gets control of Sorenson's arms and successfully pulls guard. Kicurasz will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Kicurasz escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Sorenson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Kicurasz working a defensive guard here.
Kicurasz working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Sorenson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Sorenson manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sorenson gets to his feet. Kicurasz looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sorenson has Kicurasz up against the cage in a clinch.
Sorenson works on Kicurasz's body with a couple of short punches. Kicurasz has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Sorenson uses from the top position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sorenson drops back looking for a leg! Kicurasz is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Kicurasz manages to kick Sorenson off! Sorenson jumps back into Kicurasz's guard. Sorenson is looking to work some ground and pound but Kicurasz has wrist control. Sorenson gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Sorenson throws a head kick that misses. Sorenson throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Kicurasz counters with a lovely straight right hand!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sorenson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Kicurasz as he avoids it easily. No luck for Sorenson with that takedown attempt. Kicurasz wants to clinch up but Sorenson keeps it at a distance. Kicurasz misses with a right hand and Sorenson counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Sorenson. Kicurasz controls Sorenson momentarily but Sorenson frees himself. Kicurasz had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Sorenson defends it easily. Kicurasz wants to get back to his feet but Sorenson is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sorenson gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Sorenson closes the distance and clinches. Sorenson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Sorenson misses with a lunging right hand
and Kicurasz counters with a stiff right hand. Kicurasz throws a head kick that misses and Sorenson counters with a nice double leg into guard. Sorenson sitting in guard, not really doing much. Kicurasz wants to stand but Sorenson is controlling the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sorenson decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Sorenson lands a jab. Sorenson looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Kicurasz! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Sorenson working away from the top, dropping strikes. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kicurasz regains half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nate Sorenson dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Kicurasz scores with the left hand. Sorenson knows he should have avoided that one. Sorenson throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Kicurasz counters with a lovely straight right hand! Sorenson instigates a clinch. Sorenson keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Kicurasz's efforts to push away. Sorenson breaks from the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sorenson has his takedown stuffed and Kicurasz counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Sorenson has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Sorenson there as he acknowledges the shot.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kicurasz lands a high kick!
Kicurasz tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Kicurasz misses with a two punch combination.
A looping hook to the body misses from Kicurasz. Sorenson does a little dance to reset his feet. Sorenson moves into the clinch. Kicurasz manages to break the clinch.
Sorenson sizes up Kicurasz with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Kicurasz throws a hook to the side of Sorenson's head but Sorenson sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Sorenson pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Kicurasz throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Kicurasz throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Sorenson tries for a takedown but Kicurasz circles away easily and Kicurasz counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Sorenson slips a jab and a cross from Kicurasz.
A head kick misses from Kicurasz.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kicurasz closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Kicurasz tries to stand but can't do so whilst Sorenson controls his leg. Sorenson has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Kicurasz is working away from the top position though. Kicurasz decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Kicurasz lands a right hook to the body.
Kicurasz tries to keep at a distance but Sorenson has taken the fight into the clinch. Sorenson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Gunter Kicurasz is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A head kick misses from Kicurasz. Kicurasz bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Kicurasz throws a sloppy head kick and Sorenson moves out of range easily. Sorenson shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Kicurasz is trying to defend but Sorenson finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Kicurasz is trying to stand back up but Sorenson is controlling him
Sorenson tries to pass the half guard into mount. Kicurasz knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Kicurasz tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Sorenson manages to move to mount!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Gunter Kicurasz will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Sorenson is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Sorenson prevents Kicurasz from getting back to his feet. Kicurasz keeping moving, preventing Sorenson from controlling successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sorenson gets to his feet - Kicurasz follows without any prompting. Sorenson throws a left and a right that both miss
and Kicurasz counters with a stiff right hand. Kicurasz lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Sorenson at a distance.
Horrible takedown by Sorenson or perhaps it was just good defense by Kicurasz which made him look bad. A punch combination from Kicurasz misses. The fight moves into the clinch position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kicurasz drags the fight down to the ground.
Kicurasz is trying to control the position but Sorenson postures up. Kicurasz has his foot on Sorenson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Sorenson works his way back into a safe position though. Sorenson gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Kicurasz is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Sorenson closes the distance and pushes Kicurasz back into the cage. Kicurasz pulls guard effortlessly. Kicurasz is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Sorenson prevents Kicurasz from getting back to his feet. Sorenson postures up in Kicurasz's guard and throws a big left but Kicurasz blocks it. Sorenson stands up from Kicurasz's guard - Sorenson perhaps looking for a knockout. Sorenson closes the distance and clinches.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kicurasz drags the fight down to the ground.
Sorenson wants to control from the top but Kicurasz keeps moving. Sorenson gets to his feet - Kicurasz follows without any prompting. Sorenson blocks a head kick by Kicurasz.
Kicurasz gets the takedown into side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sorenson tries to improve position but can't. Sorenson is not content to let Kicurasz control the position. Kicurasz stands up and beckons Sorenson to his feet. Kicurasz moves out of range as Sorenson strikes. Kicurasz throws a lazy uppercut
and Sorenson counters with a head kick. That will keep Kicurasz thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Kicurasz scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Kicurasz decides to stand back up.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Gunter Kicurasz. I think Kicurasz has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
