Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between David Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Willie Wynn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Miller kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is On to the Next One. Wynn is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Flower Of Scotland - Red Hot Chilli Pipers. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, David Miller! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Willie Wynn! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Andrew Berry and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Miller with a poor takedown and Wynn counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Willie Wynn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Miller fails with the takedown and Wynn counters with a lovely straight right hand! Miller doesn't succeed with the takedown and Wynn counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for David Miller. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wynn throws a jab when Miller was well out of range. Wynn throws a hook but Miller blocks it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Miller steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Wynn. Miller misses with a straight left. Wynn throws a lazy head kick and Miller counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Miller is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Wynn is just riding it out for now. Miller eventually gives up the hold. Wynn kicks off Miller and gets to his feet. Wynn connects with a solid leg kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Miller swings widly with a right hand
and Wynn counters with a lovely straight right hand! Wynn scores with a jab to the body. Wynn works the jab nicely. The fighters circling - Wynn throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Miller misses with a takedown and Wynn cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Miller ducks under a wild hook from Wynn. Miller blocks a jab. Wynn pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Miller moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Wynn wants to clinch but Miller slips to the side and Miller counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Wynn's guard now. Miller forces his way into half guard. Miller has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Miller is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Wynn has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Wynn!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Miller is trying to keep Wynn in close.
Wynn tries to stand but Miller is controlling from the bottom. Miller is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Wynn is trying to stand.
Miller wants to work for an arm triangle but Wynn is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Wynn is trying to stand up here but Miller is controlling him well. Miller trying to mount his opponent but Wynn defends it. Wynn trying to control but Miller postures up.

The fighters circling - Wynn throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Wynn lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Wynn tries to clinch but Miller is having none of it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Miller tries for a takedown but Wynn circles away easily and Wynn counters with a head kick. That will keep Miller thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Miller ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Wynn moves away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wynn tries to clinch up but Miller circles away and keeps his distance. Willie Wynn is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Miller has his takedown stuffed and Wynn counters with a nice low kick that buckles Miller's knee momentarily. Miller misses with a takedown and Wynn counters with a nice uppercut. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for David Miller. That's going to take a lot out of him. Wynn throws a series of punches but Miller moves out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Wynn throws a hook but Miller avoids it easily. A telegraphed right hand from Wynn misses the target. Miller shoots and misses and Wynn counters with a straight right hand. Wynn connects with a good right hand that stumbles Miller. Miller circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Wynn tries a head kick but it misses.
Miller just misses with a punch to the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Miller shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Wynn manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Miller trying to control the position from guard on top but Wynn is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Wynn wants to stand and escape but Miller is having none of it. Miller stands and throws Wynn's legs to the side, diving into side control. Miller working the ground and pound. Wynn is trying to buck Miller off. Miller looks up at the clock and then as Wynn takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Miller smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Miller moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Miller working the head and body with strikes. Wynn pushes Miller away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Miller gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Miller moves into full mount! Miller sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Miller won't let Wynn get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. Miller controlling from mount. Miller tries to control but Wynn wriggling away. Miller lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
David Miller dominated that second round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Wynn lands with a kick to the temple. Miller shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Miller scores with a body shot.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Wynn enables Miller to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Wynn manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Miller trying to control but Wynn is working from the bottom. Miller drops back looking for a leg! Wynn is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Wynn manages to kick Miller off! Miller jumps back into Wynn's guard. Miller throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Wynn works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Miller trying to control the position from guard on top but Wynn is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Wynn is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Miller defends well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Miller drops back looking for a leg! Wynn is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Wynn manages to kick Miller off! Miller jumps back into Wynn's guard. Wynn is trying to control the position but Miller postures up. Wynn keeping moving, preventing Miller from controlling successfully. Miller thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Wynn keeping full guard, as Miller tries to pass. Miller controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Wynn trying to control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Wynn wants to stand but Miller is controlling the position. Miller thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Miller throwing strikes but missing. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Miller is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Miller in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Wynn wants to get back to his feet but Miller is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Miller wants to control from the top but Wynn keeps moving. Wynn looking to hit a scissor sweep but Miller is one step ahead there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wynn has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Miller can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Wynn takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Miller wants to control from the top but Wynn keeps moving. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Miller got a little sloppy there for a moment and Wynn has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Miller has managed to get both his arms back between Wynn's legs - danger averted. Miller drops back, looking for a kneebar! Wynn looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Wynn looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Wynn! Miller is looking to regain half guard here but Wynn keeps moving and retains side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Miller gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Miller moves into full guard.
Miller is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Wynn is looking to stand up but Miller won't let him. Wynn trying to control the position from guard on top but Miller is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Wynn throwing strikes from guard but Miller blocks nicely. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Miller controls Wynn momentarily but Wynn frees himself. Miller manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
And that's the end of the fight! David Miller showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Miller, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
