Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Saenchai Sor Kingstar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fjodor Fedja (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Saenchai Sor Kingstar! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 6 - 1, fighting out of London, Fjodor Fedja! The judges for this bout are James Glass, Steven Brown and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fedja tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Kingstar manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Fedja looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Kingstar is trying to stand back up but Fedja is controlling him
Fedja is looking for a kimura but Kingstar is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Fedja to get the leverage. Kingstar tries to kick Fedja off but Fedja keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Fedja wants to work for an arm triangle but Kingstar is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Fedja takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Fedja is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Kingstar is just riding it out for now. Fedja eventually gives up the hold. Fedja is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Kingstar doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Fedja. Fedja trying to control the action but Kingstar is working from the bottom.

Fedja slips a nice elbow through Kingstar's hands, connecting with Kingstar's forehead. Kingstar pushes Fedja off looking to stand but Fedja dives back in and keeps control.
Fedja is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Kingstar sees it coming and defends easily. Fedja passes to full mount!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fedja jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Kingstar is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Kingstar and Fedja has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Kingstar tries to escape but Fedja is in control. Kingstar is trying to improve his position. Fedja trying to control the action but Kingstar is working from the bottom. Fedja tries for a kimura but Kingstar is defending well. Fedja working the body and head with strikes. Kingstar is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Fedja is controlling him well. Kingstar tries to bench press Fedja off him but Fedja keeps the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kingstar is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Fedja is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Kingstar has escaped the position, nice work there. Kingstar sneaks out the side door and pushes Fedja away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape. Kingstar falls off balance throwing a combination
and Fedja counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Kingstar knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Fedja on the ground. Kingstar looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Kingstar is breathing heavily. Fedja sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Kingstar's guard. Fedja scores with a couple of good hammerfists. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kingstar taking some punishment here, with Fedja in his half guard. Fedja has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Fedja controlling the action here. Fedja maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Kingstar could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Fedja has cracked it and Kingstar is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Fedja!
