And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Yuri Sichev!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Illya Tyunina and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sichev doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Ortiz counters with a straight right hand.
Yuri Sichev seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sichev with a lazy takedown attempt
and Ortiz counters with a straight right hand.
Sichev shoots and misses
and Ortiz connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Tito Ortiz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Yuri Sichev.
Sichev wants to clinch but Ortiz slips to the side
and Sichev takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Sichev moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Sichev misses with a takedown attempt
and Ortiz counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Sichev takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Ortiz lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Sichev backs up against the cage.
Sichev is rocked!
Sichev gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Ortiz counters with an inside leg kick.
Sichev looks gassed!
Sichev is starting to get sloppy and is letting his hands down. Ortiz just took advantage and landed a stinging jab. Oh! And now a right hook, right on the button! Sichev has gone limp, and this one is over!
