Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Besik Shamba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Frick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jake Frick is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Besik Shamba!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jake Frick!
The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Viktor Lagutenko and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shamba instigates a clinch.
Shamba manages to break the clinch.
Frick slips a jab and a cross from Shamba.
Shamba takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Frick uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Shamba swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Frick counters with a left and a right that stings Shamba.
Frick closes the distance and lands a one-two.
It looks like Besik Shamba has been cut.
Frick avoids the body shot from Shamba.
Shamba connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Shamba rushes Frick and presses him up against the cage.
Shamba escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
A right-left combo lands from Shamba.
It looks like Jake Frick has been cut.
Frick misses with an uppercut.
Frick looks to throw the jab but Shamba is out of range.
Frick misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Frick avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Shamba throws a right and a left that Frick avoids nicely.
Frick gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Shamba.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Shamba throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Frick counters with a series of strikes. Shamba will be more careful next time no doubt.
Shamba throws a hook to the side of Frick's head but Frick sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Shamba closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Shamba escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Shamba throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Shamba will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Shamba misses with a combination
and Frick counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
A telegraphed right hand from Frick misses the target.
Frick moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Shamba misses with an uppercut
letting Frick counter with a right hand.
Shamba throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Frick's head.
Frick is rocked!
Frick leaves his chin hanging out and Shamba seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Frick crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Besik Shamba!
