Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kari Makkonen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexander Kerensky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Makkonen comes to the ring accompanied by Visa & Harri - Hyvä Ässät!. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kari Makkonen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Alexander Kerensky! The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Matti Vanhoillinen and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kerensky changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Makkonen takes the fight into the clinch. Makkonen throws a knee to the head but misses.
Makkonen wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Kerensky prevents Makkonen from breaking the clinch. Makkonen looking to throw knees to the head but Kerensky is blocking nicely.
Makkonen has Kerensky pressed against the ropes, preventing Kerensky from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Makkonen keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Kerensky's efforts to push away. Makkonen misses with a punch on the inside.
Makkonen is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Kerensky is keeping busy. Makkonen tries to land knees in the clinch but Kerensky avoids the damage to the body. Kerensky makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Makkonen misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Kerensky has a couple of punches blocked by Makkonen.
Kerensky is trying to force a seperation but Makkonen has the dominant position. A head punch blocked on the inside by Kerensky. Makkonen lands with a left to the head. Makkonen is working for a takedown up against the ropes. He can't get it on this occasion though. Kerensky is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the ropes. Kerensky wants to break free but Makkonen has control.
Makkonen using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Kerensky has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Kerensky. Makkonen misses with a knee strike.
Stalling in the clinch from Makkonen.
Makkonen is looking to control Kerensky's arms but Kerensky gets an underhook and turns him. Now Makkonen has his back to the ropes. Kerensky wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Makkonen has him pressed against the ropes. Makkonen throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Makkonen scores with a shoulder strike. Makkonen stalling in the clinch but Kerensky improves position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kerensky can't break the clinch.
Kerensky working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Makkonen has Kerensky pressed against the ropes, preventing Kerensky from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Kerensky breaks from the clinch.

Jab by Kerensky. Alexander Kerensky is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Kerensky scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Makkonen is breathing heavily. Kerensky works Makkonen's body with a nice hook. Kerensky works over Makkonen's head and body with a nice combination.
It looks like Kari Makkonen has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kerensky jabs at Makkonen's body. Left hook, right uppercut from Kerensky. Kerensky gets in close and tags Makkonen with a short punch that almost sends Makkonen to the mat! Oh Makkonen is in big trouble! He turns his back on Kerensky, trying to create some distance but Kerensky rushes him, striking wildly and Makkonen goes down! The referee tackles Kerensky into the ropes to end the fight! Kerensky is one violent man!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Alexander Kerensky!
