The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Edmundos misses with a double jab.
Edmundos throws a wild combination but nothing lands. A combination from Edmundos does no damage. Sloppy strikes from Edmundos. Those never looked like landing. Sham clinches with his opponent.
Sham keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Edmundos's efforts to push away. Edmundos wants to get back to striking at distance but Sham won't allow it.
Sham jumps guard.
Sham seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Tim Sham. Edmundos swinging wildly here.

and Sham counters with a thumping low kick. Sham looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Edmundos is looking to stand back up but Sham counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Edmundos. Edmundos is in trouble now - Sham has advanced to mount! Edmundos tries to buck Sham off but Sham takes his back! Well, with Sham on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Edmundos is tapping out... Can he escape the position? Sham has managed to slip his arm under Edmundos's chin. This could be all over... yep, Edmundos is tapping out! Submission win for Sham.
