Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jacob skyler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). skyler comes to the cage accompanied by rum is for drinkin not for burning. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
skyler moves into the clinch.
skyler tries to break the clinch but Johnson is controlling the position.
Johnson is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. skyler is defending well for now.
skyler turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and skyler manages to end up in side control.
skyler working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Johnson closes the distance looking to clinch
and skyler counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, skyler cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

skyler is pushing Johnson up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
skyler pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Johnson back to the cage. skyler follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

and skyler counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Johnson's guard now.

skyler is trying to stick to Johnson's back but Johnson is turning into skyler. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in skyler's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Johnson.
