The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perry moves out of range of the leg kick from Leopoldo.
Perry throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.

and Leopoldo cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Perry is looking to slow Leopoldo down with leg kicks.
A solid leg kick lands there for Perry.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Leopoldo.

Perry pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Leopoldo avoids the head kick by Perry.
Leopoldo doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Perry counters with a head kick.
Leopoldo rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Perry counters with a head kick. That will keep Leopoldo thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Leopoldo jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Tyler Perry seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A low kick from Perry misses
and Leopoldo counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

This has been an exciting period of action!
