The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Paulo Santos and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cristo swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Dzagoev counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Cristo misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Dzagoev lands with a hook. Cristo tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Dzagoev scores with a sloppy right hand. Cristo should have avoided that one.
Cristo falls off balance throwing a combination
and Dzagoev counters with a left to the body.
Dzagoev connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Cristo's hands.
Dzagoev is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Cristo.
Cristo misses with a combination
and Dzagoev counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Dzagoev throws a good cross that connects.
Cristo is rocked!
Dzagoev misses with a body shot.
Cristo takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Oh Cristo is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Cristo falls off balance throwing a combination
and Dzagoev counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Cristo thinking.
Cristo is breathing heavily.
Dzagoev drops Cristo with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Cristo! Dzagoev dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
