Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Belgian Maniac (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Julius Peppers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Peppers has chosen Day N Nite-Kid Cudi as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
15 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Belgian Maniac! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Julius Peppers! The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Russell Pearce and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A momentary lapse in concentration from Peppers enables Maniac to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Peppers manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Maniac throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Maniac throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Peppers works some decent striking defense from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Maniac trying to control the position from guard on top but Peppers is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Peppers working a defensive guard here.
Peppers keeping full guard, as Maniac tries to pass. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Maniac lands a couple of elbows. Maniac pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Peppers is keeping the position for now. Maniac working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Peppers trying to keep a closed guard but Maniac is proving a slippery customer.
Maniac sitting in guard, not really doing much. Maniac is looking to work some ground and pound but Peppers has wrist control. Peppers keeping full guard, as Maniac tries to pass. Maniac throwing strikes but missing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Maniac accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Maniac stopping the sweep attempt from Peppers. Peppers is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Maniac is aware though and is defending well. Maniac with a nice head shot there. Maniac keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Peppers's head. Maniac throws a strike but Peppers rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Maniac is trying to keep Peppers in close.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Peppers wants to pass the guard but Maniac is keeping the position. Maniac keeping moving, preventing Peppers from controlling successfully. Maniac has Peppers pulled in close to control his posture.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Maniac working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Peppers. Peppers postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Peppers stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Maniac swivels though and keeps the full guard. Maniac working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Peppers has passed into half guard!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Belgian Maniac dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Maniac throws a head kick that misses. Maniac sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Peppers connects with a leg kick. Maniac looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Peppers leaves Maniac with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Maniac shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Peppers as he jumps to the side. Julius Peppers seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Maniac throws a lazy body kick and Peppers counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Maniac looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Peppers is fending him off so far but Maniac persists. Nope, Peppers circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Belgian Maniac. That's going to take a lot out of him. Maniac stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Peppers. Peppers thows a body shot but no joy.
That's one minute gone in the round. Maniac throws a big shot that misses. Maniac throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Julius Peppers is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. A slow jab from Peppers misses its intended target. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Peppers, right into the meat.
Peppers is looking to slow Maniac down with leg kicks. Maniac just misses with a punch to the body.
Peppers checks the leg kick. Peppers moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Peppers tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Maniac throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Peppers throws a series of punches but Maniac moves out of range. Peppers walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Maniac checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Peppers misses with a body kick. Peppers steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Maniac. Peppers is looking to score with low kicks. Maniac avoids a kick to the body.
Peppers thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Maniac if he has to take too many more of those.
Peppers lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. A slapping leg kick lands for Peppers.
Peppers connects with a leg kick. Maniac looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Peppers blocks a low kick nicely. A head kick misses from Peppers.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Peppers, right into the meat.

Peppers misses with a few strikes there.
Maniac uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Peppers.
Maniac takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. An inside leg kick lands from Maniac. Peppers throws a chopping leg kick but Maniac manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Peppers throws a nice outside leg kick. Maniac slips under a jab.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Maniac throws a nice outside leg kick. Peppers fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Maniac. Peppers throws a front kick that sends Maniac stumbling back into the cage. Peppers slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Peppers connects with a right hand. Maniac shakes it off. Peppers scores with a leg kick.
A nice inside leg kick there by Peppers. That's going to slow Maniac down. Julius Peppers seems to be getting the better of the standup. Peppers fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Maniac manages to avoid it. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Peppers slips a jab and a cross from Maniac.
A nice combination there by Peppers.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Julius Peppers showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

That's one minute gone in the round. Peppers throws a front kick aimed at Maniac's knee but Maniac avoids it well. Peppers fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Maniac has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Peppers checks a leg kick nicely. Maniac tries for a takedown but Peppers circles away easily and Peppers counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters. Maniac shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Belgian Maniac. That's going to take a lot out of him. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Maniac tries to move into range but Peppers moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Peppers moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Peppers pulls out of a head kick attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Peppers is looking to land body kicks. Peppers throws a low kick, looking for Maniac's leg but Maniac calmly moves out of range. Maniac lands a jab to the nose. Peppers defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Maniac. Maniac throws a right hand that Peppers ducks under and follows up with a left that Peppers also avoids with ease. Peppers moves out of range of the body kick from Maniac.
Peppers throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
A head kick by Maniac misses and Peppers counters with a nice low kick that buckles Maniac's knee momentarily. Maniac scores with a head kick.
Peppers scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Peppers scores with a push kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Left hook, right uppercut from Peppers. Peppers thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Maniac if he has to take too many more of those.
Maniac is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Maniac displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Peppers throws out the jab. Peppers thows a leg kick but Maniac checks it and Maniac counters with a nice double leg into side control. Peppers won't be happy with that. Peppers tries to improve position but can't. Peppers regains half guard. Peppers wants to improve his position but Maniac is controlling well.
Maniac not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Peppers trying to control but Maniac postures up.
Maniac passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Peppers! Maniac throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Peppers is squirming around, avoiding Maniac's attempts to control the action. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Peppers gets back to half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Julius Peppers comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Peppers has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
