And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Brusso Do!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Shigeki Fujiwara and Shigeki Sano.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Do wants to clinch but Downs slips to the side
and Downs counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Downs closes the distance and clinches.
Do misses with an elbow over the top.
Downs is looking to break free of the clinch but Do has double underhooks.
Downs blocks the elbow strike.
Downs managing to block the knees to the body from Do.
Do blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Do trying to stall but Downs improves his position.
Downs jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Do walks away with a smile on his face. Downs gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Downs is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Do to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Do shrugs it off.

Downs has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Downs is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Do is controlling him.

Downs will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
