The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Violante keeps Ring at a distance using the push kick.
Ring is breathing heavily.
Violante changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Ring looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Check out the look on Violante's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Violante is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Ring has escaped the position, nice work there.
Violante cracks Ring with a big right hand but Ring just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
