Campbell's entrance music is Sun Poison and Skin Cancer. A fine choice. Menger is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: General Patton. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Menger looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Donk. Campbell catches Menger right on the button with a cross.
Campbell loads up on a big right hand but Menger slips the punch.
Campbell scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Campbell defending well as Menger loads up on a big left hand.
Campbell tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Menger was well out of range. Poor timing from Campbell.
Menger throws an off balance right hand
and Campbell counters with a stiff right hand.
Menger uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Campbell.
Menger doesn't manage to clinch there - Campbell circles away.
Menger throws a left and a right that both miss
and Menger takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Sloppy strikes from Campbell. Those never looked like landing.
Menger on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Menger takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Menger throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Campbell jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Campbell lands a nice shot that snaps Menger's head back.
Menger connects with a good right hand that stumbles Campbell. Campbell circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Menger throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Campbell throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Menger is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Menger walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Menger is still on wobbly legs! Can Campbell finish him?
Menger darts in trying to clinch
and Campbell scores with a counter punch that sends Menger to the canvas! Campbell smells blood - he's punishing Menger with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Menger has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ash Campbell!
