Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between JV Bigby II (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fat Balls (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Balls has chosen ABBA - Dancing Queen as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Fat Balls has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Bigby II.
Bigby II scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
It looks like Fat Balls has been cut.

Bigby II tries to bum rush Balls with a series of wild strikes but Balls uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

and Bigby II counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Balls thinking.
Bigby II moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Bigby II scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Balls is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Bigby II.
Nice straight punches there by Bigby II. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Bigby II.

and Balls decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Bigby II's guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Balls seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Balls stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bigby II swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Bigby II is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Fat Balls was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Bigby II scores with a one two! Balls had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
A combination from Balls does no damage.
Bigby II throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Balls.
Bigby II rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Balls moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Bigby II stalks Balls and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Balls's face. Balls staggers backwards, shaken.

Balls showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Bigby II.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
JV Bigby II dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Fat Balls's cut.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Bigby II throws a right hand that Balls ducks under and follows up with a left that Balls also avoids with ease.

Bigby II could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Bigby II feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Ballss jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

and Bigby II counters with a three punch combo that has Balls backing up. Balls nods at Bigby II to acknowledge the strikes.
The cut above Fat Balls's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Bigby II throws a nice looking combination but Balls bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Bigby II misses with a series of wild punches.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Fat Balls's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
