Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hugo Avila (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Choke Out (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Hugo Avila has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Avila gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Out to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Avila preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Out cracks Avila with a solid left hand.
Out trying to control the position from guard on top but Avila is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Avila looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Avila is trying to hold Out in close to prevent damage but Out has managed to pass into half guard.
Out takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Out working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Avila has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Out is working away from the top position though.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Out connects with a nice short shot to Avila's temple.

Out wants to free his trapped foot but Avila is holding on for dear life with his legs.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Out winds up and cracks Avila with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Out slips a nice elbow through Avila's hands, connecting with Avila's forehead.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Out in particular looking to stall.
Out moves nicely into side control.
The referee asks Out politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Out prefers to stall for the moment though.

Out wants to finish this one by submission but Avila is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Out.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Avila is trying desperately to improve position.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Avila tries to hold on but Out pushes him away.
Out breaks from Avila's wrist control and lands an elbow.

and Out counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Avila's guard now.

Avila has momentary wrist control but Out slips an elbow through the middle.

Out is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Out lands a big shot there that rocks Avila but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Oh Avila is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Out unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Avila wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Out celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
