Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between JW Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Petr Petrovich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Black comes to the cage accompanied by Bodies. Petrovich has chosen Soviet Anthem as his entrance music. Petr Petrovich is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, JW Black! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Petr Petrovich! The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Vladimir Khabensky and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Black closes this distance looking for a takedown but Petrovich circles away. Petrovich swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Petrovich gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily so Black counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Petrovich has his hands on Black's head, controlling the position. Black has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Petrovich is proving hard to escape from. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Petrovich trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Petrovich trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Petrovich is pulling down on Black's head to control his posture. Black throws a big right hand that misses. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Black accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Petrovich pulls Black in to control the position. Black preventing the sweep.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Petrovich works Black's body with a nice hook.
That's one minute gone in the round. Petrovich changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Black looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Black is breathing heavily. Petrovich wants to control but Black is keeping him busy. Black is looking to reverse the position. Petrovich content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Petrovich is chipping away with strikes.
Black is trying to get back to half guard. Black takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Black being controlled for a moment. Petrovich is looking to take a break and control but Black is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. A lull in the action here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Black is looking to regain half guard here but Petrovich keeps moving and retains side control. Black is working hard here to advance position. The ground and pound from Petrovich seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Petrovich looks to land a combination but Black avoids it well. Black shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Petrovich's guard. Black avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Petrovich lands a decent shot there. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Petrovich holds on and takes a little breather. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Petrovich looking to hit a scissor sweep but Black is one step ahead there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Petrovich bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Black's guard. Petrovich controls from within his opponent's guard. Petrovich lands a couple of decent looking shots. Petrovich showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Petrovich wants to control from the top but Black keeps moving.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Petrovich showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
Despite being in the dominant position, Petr Petrovich just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Petrovich fails with the takedown and Black counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Petrovich! Petrovich is desperately trying to improve his position but Black has a good base and remains in mount. Petrovich is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Petrovich tries to lock up and control but Black gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Black throwing strikes here but Petrovich is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Petrovich tries to hold on but Black postures up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Black looking to finish with strikes here!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that JW Black will probably get the nod. That's time! Black's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Petrovich drops his shoulder and cracks Black with a huge uppercut! Black goes down! Can Petrovich finish him?
Black is rocked!
It looks like JW Black has been cut. Petrovich loads up on a big left hand. Black felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Petrovich looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Black can't hide his disappointment, as Petrovich celebrates the victory.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:25 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Petr Petrovich!
